A shrub is a vinegar-based cordial to mix into drinks. Read more about it here.
Every batch of shrub is made with different seasonal fruit. This one was made as a great immunity booster. Fire Tonics have long been touted as a herbal remedy and have gain popularity over the years.
This one was made with all the immunity boosting qualities of citrus and chilli which are high in vitamin C. This one has loads of ginger and turmeric which are known for their anti-inflammatory qualities. Along with the apple cider vinegar, these will help aid digestion.
Also this special shrub has Native Desert Lime which contains Glycosides, which act as a skin healer. They also are rich in coumarin, a potent antioxidant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
This spicy shrub can be drank as a daily tonic, added to soda water for a zesty drink or added to a hot toddy for an alcoholic tonic that will ‘cure what ails ya’.
The fruit is simply fermented with Australian raw sugar and then steeped with local Apple cider vinegar

A shrub can be treated like a drink or you can use it in a salad dressing. Try with olive oil over thinly sliced cabbage salad.
