A special product from a special lady. This sauce is a version of my grandma’s famous plum sauce. I say a version because she never had a recipe.
This batch uses a mix of 4 different variety of plums from Andrew Muscat’s farms. Read about him in this blog post.
Most of my products are fermented, this one isn’t. It’s made by reducing plums with sugar, vinegar, spices and a pinch of salt. It’s rich, sticky and a little tart.
Enjoy this sauce with bangers and mash (like my granny did) or with cheese, on sandwiches, drizzled over roasted meats or vegetables.

Apple Cider Vinegar (Lirah, QLD)
Brown Sugar (CSL, QLD)
Cinnamon, Clove, Black Pepper (Imported)
Salt (Olssons, SA)
Serve alongside grilled meats or vegetables. Great spread on sandwiches or drizzle over grilled sausages. Try over a grilled duck breast. Serve on a cheese plate with a sharp cheddar.
